NexusPlus

Commercial modular PV inverters, designed for scalable deployment, reliable performance, and integration with complex site infrastructure.

What NexusPlus is

NexusPlus is NovaFir’s commercial-grade inverter family for grid-tied solar sites. It is designed as a modular inverter block approach, where total site capacity scales by deploying multiple inverter blocks in parallel using standard commercial aggregation and protection equipment.

NexusPlus is the power conversion layer within NovaFir’s commercial architecture. It pairs with Atlas for secure site integration and with ASCEND for site orchestration and operational intelligence.

Scalable by design

Deploy inverter blocks as capacity grows, with redundancy and serviceability built into the site architecture.

Commercial integration

Designed to operate within utility interconnection, protection, and monitoring requirements common to commercial sites.

Built on one platform

Shares NovaFir’s core control and optimization foundation, including NovaTrack where applicable, across the product line.

What NexusPlus systems do

NexusPlus provides the primary power conversion layer for commercial PV sites, including PV array optimization, MPPT using NovaTrack, and conversion to three-phase AC output. Each unit includes local protection and fault handling designed for reliable operation at commercial scale.

  • PV array optimization and MPPT control
  • Three-phase inverter operation for grid-tied commercial deployments
  • Coordinated operation across multiple inverter blocks
  • Local protection, fault handling, and safe behaviour under abnormal conditions
  • Integration pathways for site monitoring and control systems

Target customers and markets

NexusPlus is designed for commercial and institutional customers deploying grid-tied solar where reliability, serviceability, and integration with existing electrical infrastructure are critical.

Institutional and public

  • Schools and campuses
  • Hospitals and medical facilities
  • Government buildings and public infrastructure

Commercial and industrial

  • Warehouses and distribution
  • Retail and mixed-use sites
  • Manufacturing and light industrial

Energy operators and EPCs

  • EPCs and project developers
  • Asset operators managing multi-site portfolios
  • Service providers seeking fleet visibility and repeatable deployments

How NexusPlus fits with Atlas and ASCEND

NexusPlus is designed as part of a layered commercial architecture. NexusPlus provides power conversion. Atlas provides site-level integration and secure communications across equipment. ASCEND provides orchestration, operational intelligence, and decision support at the site and fleet level.
